Why no values shown in display for other parameters ?

Anybody find it a bit odd that say , filter cutoff value, is not shown in the display, we get note values etc but I like to see numerically where values are at. Just feels a bit lazy on the programming side for such an expensive synth.

Is there a reason for this ? I mean even my Bass Station does this.

I'm thinking one reason might be that they wanted to create a retro design feel with reserving only the most necessary parameters needs to the LED window.   It forces the more traditional approach of looking at the actual knob positions for filter and envelopes.  I never miss the lack of Hz data on a filter for example, unless perhaps I was creating a patch from a book with printed values I needed to reference.
