How to send MIDI for Real Time FX

Is it possible to send MIDI for the Real Time FX slider changes to a DAW? I want to record the slider changes, edit any MIDI notes in the DAW and then playback everything.

I suspect the answer is no but I am hopeful I just haven't figured out how to do it.
