Removing forum sections?

Hi Guys,

This is a forum related question.

Is there a way of removing sections from the "Recent Unread Topics", so basically for me to say I'm not interested in seeing "Tempest" posts?

Or a way of blocking/ignoring certain users?

Reading the same crap over and over again is starting to get to me!

No, I don't think you have overlooked anything. By default all the posts that you haven't read since your last visit are shown. There's no way to change that from either the user control panel or the "Recent Unread Topics" menu. Same goes for blocking/ignoring certain users. Not sure whether the latter could be added in addition to the "add buddy" function.

So the best bet for now is to ignore certain posts in the most analog way.

Well I think I know what the core problem is: you forgot to make popcorn!

But yeah, we all know how that circus behaves and it can get a bit tiring to read at times though I must say that I understand their frustrations very much.

Hi BobTheDog-

Yes, you can do both of those things. Click on your Forum Profile in the upper right of the screen and then on the next page hover over the Modify Profile button in the upper left. The last two options in the list are Ignore Boards Options and Buddies/Ignore List. That should take care of everything you wanted.
