Just like before, this is the thread dedicated to forum users' Tempest videos. The concept is simple: Keep it positive, keep it constructive, and post your jams!

While the original goal was to have videos by active forum members, I want to keep the old videos up as well (unless the owners of the videos tell me to remove them from the list).

I will do the following over the course of the next few days:
-Delete listings with broken links
-Add videos posted after September of 2015 in the old forum
-Update usernames in listings (by request)
-Hopefully check out new videos posted here!

And Yorgos, I couldn't agree more~! Hopefully I'll be able to put together a video soon.

As for now, the list is up-to-date with the old forum. I believe I have taken down all the broken links and have added all of the ones added since September of 2015.

darmanmerdeka nice one! I seem to recall your sound (and username) from the old forum. I really like how your style has evolved. The implementation of acoustic percussion is a nice idea.

This video of yours is also quite interesting:

I'm fascinated with the way you perform/program that style of music into your Tempest. I'd love to read up on that style of music -- are there any references you can recommend?

In that video i'm collaborating with friend from Bali. I really like how he play and it helps me to interpretate my idea.
I i've been listening various sound of traditional music in Indonesia, west Africa and Indian cyrcle of rhythm " Kannokol "and i think it some kind of my reference and of course some of interesting topics in this forum. Oh, for west African Rhythm you can try seacrh Mamady Keita " A Life for the Djembe " they even have an application on itunes "djembefola"

Not exactly the Tempest VIDEO but AUDIOsource was all Tempest (Edit, for Steven Morris - you are free not to add this vid into first post since there is no Tempest shown in vid, it's okay).

I thought that just watching 10 minutes of Tempest, couple of Moogerfoogers and Strymons just standing and blinking will be not so interesting. So I found a video to complement the sound. It is a creepy but stunning animation for Kafka's novel "The metamorphosis" by Caroline Leaf.

Audio was recorded in one take - I just pressed play on T and leaned back in chair - so it could seem a bit monotonous. I hope to improve my technique for future projects!

Yeah. But here I've just done some very fast and bad processing to be honest. Just for Instagram #jamuary2018
However, I love being able to sidechain and ducking the bassline whenever the bass drum needs more "space" in the mix. Other than that, I'll use the bluesky for most of my pads and lead sounds... the drums will get both individual and sub group processing. I'll post videos in the future where the mix is actually "done".
