P12m and the MIDI Solutions Quadra Merge v2

Howdy!

Does anyone know if the P12m would be able to power the Quadra Merge v2 ?
Basicly the question is: Does the P12m provide 5v on its MIDI out?
(I also have the Tempest and on the website, it says the Tempest does not work.)

Need of a midi merge solution and this one does not need a power supply. Dont want to buy one and find out it does not work...
