If you're not sure the Codeknobs software can do what you want, probably better to go with Soundtower at this stage which seems to be still in active development with the last version released in November 2023.

No that's not true. Editors are available for purchase, bugs are fixing, support is providing.

Over the 10 years of editor development, the load on support has increased. Unfortunately, therefore, the response time has increased, giving priority to technical problems and questions and to users who purchased the editor.
