Cannot start sequencer while Midi Clock Mode = In or In No S/S

All the way before today when I set the Midi Clock Mode = In No S/S, I had not been able to start the Poly Sequencer manually by pressing the play button. And I could not trigger the Gate Sequencer at all. I read this thread (https://forum.sequential.com/index.php?topic=6981.0), updated the OS to 1.2.1 this afternoon (I was on 1.5.9), and everything just suddenly worked.

And then I turned off my Rev2. When I got back this evening and turned on my Rev2 again… I could not trigger the sequencers ONCE AGAIN… My global settings were exactly the same.

It’s strange that in OS 1.5.9, when I set the Midi Clock Mode = In or In No S/S, my rev2 display shows blanks where the BPM was previously displayed. But with OS 1.2.1, the BPM number always shows. But when I failed to trigger the sequencers again this evening with the OS 1.2.1, the BPM shows once again blank. It feels like the OS just rolled back on itself after powering off…

Is it a common bug…? Any help is very much appreciated!
