Playing chords - hold function

Is there a way of using the hold function so that when I press a new note/chord it will switch flawlessly from the previous note/chord and sustain that new note/chord instead?

Sure, just use chord mode to memorise your chord (unison button, cycle from 1-6 voices and then CHD) and use hold button to hold it. Triggering a new key will transpose the memorised chord.
