OB-6 Desktop Sequencer PLAY button never plays any sequence???? help!

Hi,
I just received a new OB6 desktop and pressing Play on the sequencer NEVER plays a sequence...??
for ANY preset, from 0-999.
With no midi or usb plugged in, it wont start the sequence.

And with MIDI and USB connected:
I tried all MIDI settings/Modes:
 IN (clock triggered from Ableton and also tried clock from Cirklon), OUT and NSS.
(It will receive NOTES Midi from Ableton or Cirklon, thats fine.)


BUT if I send it a Trigger Pattern from the Roland TR-9, it plays the gated Sequence on the presets.
Just through MIDI it wont play.

I really need some help here.

I also tried recording a new sequence but it would never play the sequence after pressing PLAY.

any ideas???

Seems odd. All I can think of in terms of trouble shooting is for you to connect a foot switch (hopefully you have one handy) to the back of the OB-6 into the footswitch jack, this will allow you to trigger/play a sequence.

For me it turned out to be that the Midi Clock setting had to be adjusted to 'Out' (through the red Global nr 3 setting).
