Let's Talk Panning Strategies

Hi all, finally getting to do some voice creation and the P12 implementation of panning is taking me a bit of effort to wrap my head around.  I understand there is no hard panning of individual oscillators within a voice because all oscillators run through the same character->filter->VCA path.  Controlling panning seems a challenging prospect...then throw in the modulation source Pan, Pan Spread and 4 Delay Pans and my head is spinning - or is that panning 

I was wondering if others with voice creation experience could comment on how they approach P12 panning to create stereo movement?

Hi,

usually i take a DC as source to pan the voice out of center. Sometimes let it run back trough center to the other side with Note Number as source for the move. Usually i avoid the moded panning of the delays and place them static. (Otherwise my brain would start to pan like initially mentioned.) Sometimes i use a envelope to let the sound move around a bit.
-try "evolver mode" take your voice pan it relatively hard with the DC, copy it to layer B and pan it on the other side to get a stereo voice in Stack mode to double the crazyness. I havent tried to delay the Amp attacks for timing based pan.
