Static noise or clip?

Static noise or clip?
« on: September 29, 2018, 07:06:31 AM »
I have noticed that sometimes my rev2 play with some static noise/ clip that end if I disconnect and reconnect the jack cables or headphones. They are especially noticeable on the strings pad.
Is it my second unit that I own, is it a ground problem?

‘Second unit’ do you mean you have two? Do they both do it?

If this is your second unit and it does the same thing, I would suspect your installation instead of the synth itself.

Sometimes when an electrical household installation isn't properly grounded, all sorts of issues can arise from that in audio gear. (when the fridge starts and stops for example ;))

It could also be some type of ground loop via USB or even via audio cables themselves with other audio gear in your set up.

Have you contacted Sequential Support about it ?

not yet, I'll do it soon. Sometimes it works as soon as I touch a jack or unplug and plug in the headphones.
Or if I turn off and on again the rev2.
