Title: Master pitch Prophet 12
Post by: geensj on December 30, 2016, 08:39:29 AM
Yesterday I received my P12. What a cool instrument!
But, when I wanted to play along with my other synths and instruments I immediatelly noticed that it was out of tune.
So I wen t looking in the global settings but saw that its coarse was set to zero. So it should  sound in tune then, I presume. I have to set it to +1 to set it in tune with other instruments. And yes, all other instruments are correctly set.
I even checked it with my guitar tuner, flutes etc: The P12 is tuned wrong !
My P12 came with OS 1.4.1

I noticed that it depends on the patch.
E.g. when I select patch 30 "Z-String" (Bank 1, no 30) then the coarse is 50 cents too low.
Master tune  is set to 0 as well all the oscillators.

I have no such issues (but I don't use presets). Perhaps you need to contact DSI, I will check some random factory presets

I just checked, and 'Z String' does sound out for no obvious reason. I have written over 200 voices and they are all OK. . . . . You could retune the oscillators for this voice, but that doesn't explain the anomaly.

Did a calibration of the mod wheels and now this has been solved... don't know if this was the cause, but hey it's gone now.
