Title: Will update overwrite my projects?

Hello everyone forgive me if this was already addressed. I'm experiencing issues backing up my Tempest. The SysEx is freezing. I was wondering if the update will fix this and if so will updating without backing up overwrite my existing projects? Thanks

OS version?
Voice OS version?
Panel OS version?
Sam OS version?
The freezing shouldn't be happening and as far as i know using the latest beta version there's no prob overwriting any projects and such..
