Title: How to record sounds as individual audio in DAW
Post by: JC14 on October 06, 2016, 05:27:59 AM

Hello.

Yes, a "dumb" question maybe. But I'd like to know how I can record each sound (pad) of my tempest as an individual (audio or midi) track in my DAW.
Can't seem to get it set up... Help is greatly appreciated :-)

Thanks!

you can't. the tempest is a 6 voice synth and has 6 voice outs. while each voice is stereo, you have at most 6 voices to which you can assign the various pads/sounds.

the voice assign screen can be found at the bottom of the sound screen when in 16 sounds mode.

With careful programming and chocking you can get more than 6 voices but simultaneously it's only 6..

Don't worry though. This is totally possible. Hard panning will help you get to 12 outs:) Remember feedback goes through the left channel so look at the sounds you are using carefully.
