Title: Can't seem to low pass filter white noise
Post by: DJG33zr on September 17, 2016, 06:25:41 PM
Hey guys, my first post. So glad to find this forum!

I'm trying to make a noise generator that responds to the internal LPF.

I've made a custom patch that has only 1 oscillator on with a white noise waveform, simple ADSR and everything else set to zero except the VCA.

No matter what I try, I cannot seem to make the LPF work with it. I just get pure white noise at full volume no matter what other settings I use with it. It's the same with violet noise. They all work as expected with the high-pass filter.

I have to be missing something but I can't figure out what. Any ideas?  ;D

Can you check is this works:

1. Init to basic patch (globals->24.Basic Patch)

2. Change osc 1 to white noise

3. Play a note and turn the LPF freq knob.

Is this working?
