I assume this is a common question but I couldn’t find a direct answer. When stacking/splitting on the P10, is it possible to manipulate the layers separately, with MIDI?
Let’s say I am stacking, and layer A is active (selected with Preset). If I send midi CCs to anything, (cutoff, PW, Osc 1 lvl, etc.), then presumably it ONLY affects the active layer (layer A in this case)?
So if I want to affect B, I have to manually press Preset and switch to B? And then midi cc’s will (only) affect B?
Is there a way to switch layers with a midi cc, or to affect the non-active layer without switching?
Sequential’s own website only has midi documentation for the P5, and none dedicated for P10, so I think I already know the answer, and it’s not the answer I want.
But I want to confirm in case I missed the obvious.
Thanks!

It's not possible.

This is my most desired feature request; the Prophet 08 and Rev2 allow this by having layer B set to the next MIDI channel up from the main setting. I wonder if the same can be accomplished here. Being able to use an external controller with an arpeggiator on the upper would be great.
