Title: dsi pro2 and behringer rd9
Post by: SF1 on February 16, 2023, 04:24:53 PM
hello everyone, I just got the rd9 and I'm trying to sync it up with my Dave Smith pro 2 but I'm running into problems. I'm experimenting with some different techniques and trying to obtain a certain sound of 80s freestyle and Italo disco, where the synth follows the beat of the drum machine and gets cut up into 16th notes, 8th notes , etc.  What's weird is that I had the midi cable connected to the in ports of both pieces of gear by accident, and the rd9 actually followed the synths sequencer ? but i would really like to get the synth to follow the rd9. the pro 2 has a lot of connectivity possibilities, and i know there's a few different ways to go about this, but I definitely can use some pointers. I'm also trying to do certain things with the cv in/out and the gate on the pro 2 with the rd9.  I've attached a pic of the pro 2s back for viewing. If anyone has any advice it would be great. thanks
