Title: Is Unison on Take 5 supposed to be mono?
Post by: ambientcloud on January 31, 2023, 12:49:47 PM
Just wondering, I'm sure this may be a basic question but I notice when I turn on Unison, I can only play one keyboard note at a time. Is there a way you can play a chord with unison on or does that not work with the Take 5?

Thanks

Poly unison is a thing on some keyboards like the Prophet 10 or Jupiter 8, but it's not very useful with only 5 voices because you could only play 2 note chords with only 5 voices available on the synth, so I'd be surprised if they ever added it as a feature to the Take5.

Mono only, but you can assign the number of voices to be used in Unison mode.
