Title: Using one channel with pan spread
Post by: 0x80 on October 19, 2022, 12:45:21 PM
By accident, I discovered something I find really useful and musical... If you hook up only one channel, you can then use the pan spread knob to lower some of the notes. This works particularly well on an arpeggiated pattern, creating a rhythm because of the mixture of loud and soft notes. Depending on if the note count in your pattern is odd or even, the loud and soft notes will rotate or stay fixed. And of course, you can wiggle the spread for variation! So simple, yet so useful ;D

Definetly interesting.
