Title: Semi hard or ATA hard cases for prophet-10
Post by: axman01 on October 02, 2022, 10:20:58 PM
Has anyone else had a hard time finding a compatible hard case for the prophet 10? Will I need something custom made?
If this perfect board is to ever leave my studio, I want something reliable to transport it in. I'm sure I'm not the first!

If my P-10 ever leaves my studio it will be in a sturdy hard case ...
( My old P-5's Anvil Case )

After 20 sec of "Googling" I found this one. Seems OK, and not too expensive ...

Check out THon cases from Thomann in Germany. They build hard cases for all sorts of synths, including the new rev 4 P5/10. Even if you're not in Europe, the cost of the case plus shipping is pretty reasonable. I've got a Thon case for my Prophet 6 and it does what it's supposed to, keeping my synth safe all the way from Berlin to California.

I would also like to recommend the Thon cases from Thomann. All my synth traveled from home, to rehearsals, to gigs and back in Thon cases for years now and I never had a problem.

Even if they don't have a default case for your synth, a custom case is not much more expensive. However, for the Prophet 10 there is a default one.
