Title: Stereo output question
Post by: LoboLives on September 01, 2022, 08:45:20 AM
On some bi timbral Sequential synths you have two stereo outputs which you can have Layer A and B sent out from individually. This helps process or record individual layers separately.

On the OBX8 I've noticed it's just a single stereo outputs. So when you are splitting or layering the keyboard, how would you process each engine individually? Does it collapse the signal into mono for each output?

Split/Layer mode has page 2 functions for panning, use Pan Mode="4L4R" and Pan Width="Full" to assign them to separate outputs.  To access page 2 functions for split/layer, make sure "Lower" and "upper" switches on the front panel are off.
