Title: Arpeggiator/hold issue
Post by: Arcade on July 22, 2016, 04:38:19 AM
I'm having trouble working out my live workflow on this thing. So I might take an arpeggiated patch and play on the keys for a while, then I'll come to a point where I want to just repeat the pattern for a while, whilst I play more with the bassline or rhythm hardware. So I hit the hold button and all is well.

The issue occurs when I want to then take off where I left the Pro 2. If I hit the same notes that I left on hold, then release the hold button, I lose all notes.

Is there any way I can continue without any gaps? It's not going to work releasing hold, then having to re-activate the notes, as it will be too difficult to do without a gap, and if not done to the beat I lose the tempo sync as well.

I'm hoping there's a way to do it and that I'm not asking too much :)

Oh the other question related to this - I have the Pro 2 set to slave clock mode (Ableton Live is the master). The tempo is synced no problems, but the arpeggiator doesn't lock on unless you hit the first key at the right time. I thought activating "arp auto latch" would remedy this but it doesn't seem to be the case. Any tips? Cheers!
