Title: Polyevolver keyboard problem/repair
Post by: Joethelion on April 02, 2022, 04:15:37 AM
Hello everyone!
My name is Marco and I am an happy owner of a mono Evolver desktop.. .I've been offered a Polyevolver keyboard for a very good price since it has the encoders problem, they skip values...I'm asking if, in order to solve the problem, all I have to do is to replace the encoders with the PE kit or if it's a more difficult task...

Thank you!

A few years ago my Osc shape knob was acting funky so DSI sent me a few replacement encoders and I soldiered them in.  Not my first soldering experience, but a tight /small area so it wasn't pretty fix, but it worked :).   I've heard about the conversion kit,  I don't know much about that,  or if it is even available anymore.  Suggest you contact support.
