Have an interest in creating a sample pack for the Prophet X? Would love to get some PE sounds into the machine.

What format is used to do that?

What format is used to do that?

You can just export them as Wav. files 16-bit, 48 kHz and then users can just load them into the PXToolKit or SampleRobot software to map, loop and export them in proper PX format.

Ok I see.   A few more questions:   Any patch fair game or just stock factory?      Also I assume sample should be long enough to cover the attack and decay full character of the patch, unlike a waveform where only a snipet is used?  No effects too I presume.  I'm limited in my sampling experience.

I have some stringy plucks and a few others I'd be willing to share.  Perhaps if several people contributed then they could be combined into a "pack".   Certainly makes sense to have PEK represented on a Sequential sample-able synth like Prophet X.

Stock patches and custom patches are both welcome. Keys, pads, strings, choir, bass, and even the onboard sequences as well.
