Title: Frequency knobs "5" doesn't display (or play) C_2

Happy new P5 owner here!
When either osc's freq knobs is set to middle ("5"), the display shows G_2 and the oscs play a G2.
Isn't it supposed to be C2 in the middle position?

I've had it for just over a week and I can't remember if it was C_2 initially and somehow changed later.
I've tried everything (Tune, Transpose, Globals reset, OS updates etc.)
Any ideas?

Can’t recall the values pot position but there is a mode for how the pots behave:
Pot Mode, found at Globals row 2, that affect how the pots behave (relative, passthrue, jump). Could be what your looking for. Please check the User Guide, page 14:

Is that really a big deal ?    ???
Why not look at the display instead of the knobs when selecting freq.
Isnīt thatīs what the display is for ?    ::)

Is that really a big deal to take a look at your Prophet and tell me what's the note value in the freq knob middle position? :)

Btw, I can imagine that the middle position isn't representing the "middle note" (C_2) due to the exponential nature of the harmonic series.

Hi eldadg,

Congrats on the new P5! Your unit has the correct behavior - the scaling was implemented to match the behavior of the vintage units. The range of the pot is also getting divided by octaves.
