Just bought a used Mopho desktop, and discovered that many of the presets do not produce any sound.
I have downloaded the sys-ex editor, converted the factory-presets-file to MIDI, and played the MIDI from a track in Pro Tools via my MIDI interface into the Mopho. The factory presets load into the Mopho like they should, but the same problem persist, but now just in different places.
Has anyone got a bullet proof fix for this?

Hope somebody can help.
On Gearspace someone jokingly suggested "it's normal" i.e. with Sequential gear
Hope not.
Any suggestions for a fix?
Cheers

Look for the midi sync parameter in the global menu. If it is midi or ext the mopho doesn’t play sound with arp or seq until it receives a midi clock. The sync should be internal.

Indeed - this is the answer. No clock is no arp or sequence in the case of the MoPho and a lot of the other desktop synths as well if I remember it correctly.
