Title: Problems with new OB-6 module
Post by: cram1960 on November 13, 2021, 01:29:08 PM
I got it 3 days ago, but I have an issue that I can't figure out.

When trying to save a sequence, the only thing that gets saved is the first note.  When I hit play, that one note just repeats.

The 2nd problem is tha the arp on/off button doesn't always activate when pressed.

OS v 1.6.6

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Craig

When recording the sequence, does the display increment with each note entered?  It should show how many steps you've entered.

When playing back, it just repeats the 1st note over and over?  If you disconnect the USB or MIDI cable, does that make a difference in sequencer playback?  There could be some sort of MIDI loop/feedback going on.

On the arp on/off button, try pressing it repeatedly a bunch of times to clean the contacts.

Thanks, man.

Yes, it repeats the same note (the first one) over and over.
I have disconnected all midi - no difference in sequencer playback.

Yes, it increments as it should.

The issue is resolved.  There was a midi loop somehow (even with only the midi in DIN connected).  I changed cables and everrything is as it should be!
