Hi! I own a Prophet 5 rev 3 and just purchased a Prophet 10 rev 4. I have noticed a significant difference in the filter EG and was curious if this was a known issue. When cutoff is zero, keyboard control is full, and filter EG is 100% the rev 4 only opens 70% as much as the rev 3. I am saying 70% because I am matching the self-oscillating resonance note on both and have to back the rev 3 EG to 70% to match out the max'ed out rev 4 EG. This seems rather significant and does limit the kind of patches one can program.

My filter EG also doesn't open as much as I would have expected but I wondered if it's just how the Prophet 5 behaves. Interesting that you find such a noticeable difference with the rev 3. I would certainly prefer the EG to open more fully as many patches sound extremely dull when cutoff is at zero.

The difference between the rev3 and rev4 is significant. I would doubt that it is just the age difference. I can get the rev 4 filter EG to match the rev3 by applying poly mod from the filter to the filter. So, having the filter eg modulate/multiply itself. Even then I have to set the poly-mod amount to 25%. Maybe that is a fine work around.
I did contact customer service and they said this was to be expected. The rev 3, with filter in self-oscillation, will go above hearing range when the filter eg reaches the top. I can't do that with the rev 4...perhaps I just happen to have a rev3 with a hot filter eg??
