Title: OS FEATURE IDEA save transpose in patch
Post by: _lex on October 08, 2021, 12:58:18 AM
when using polymod on osc a, i will often transpose to return the sound to key.  saving these would be ace!  i am guessing that there might be an technical conflict with saving globals in a patch, but its worth mentioning..

Could you not achieve the same thing by pitching the individual oscillators up or down in tandem? That can be saved per patch.

takes a little more effort, but this is a good/logical hack!

Indeed it does, and if you have keyboard filter tracking on, then you will also need to adjust the filter by the required number of steps, depending on the direction and whether half or full tracking is in operation.

I asked this during this year too.
Transpose till 24 Steps, storable per patch would be really great !
To get the PolyMod really slow like at the Prophet 6 or OB6.
But many people donīt know about...
