Check to see what your Globals > Foot Pedal assignment is set to.   There was recently discussed the possibility that if its set to Half LPF or Full LPF, that setting could potentially force the filter cutoff offset, even if you don't have a foot pedal connected.  If it is set to one of those and you switch it to one of the other options, ie Exp 11, and then power cycle the machine, that would fix it if that's the case.  I sort of doubt it though in this case, based on what I hear in the audio you uploaded.

Most likely, its a combination of filter modulation mappings.   Note:  On the Rev2, the actual cutoff point is a result of:   Cutoff + Key Amount + Envelope Amount (Sustain %) + Env Velocity + Any Other modulations you have set to Cutoff destination.    Also, worth noting that Key Amount on Rev2 scales up positive values only, from C0, which is different than some other synths.

If it is a matter of high Key Amount (and or other mod values listed above), you can route a Mod Slot from Source: DC to Dest: Cutoff, with an Amount: of -24 or -36, or whatever you want to force the filter closed, while still keeping aggressive key filter amount.  This is sometimes a good tactic for getting really punchy pluck sounds that close all the way.

Thank you! I’m gonna try all the suggestions but I’m pretty sure it’s a key amount issue because specifically on this patch and a lot of patches I make the key amount is always fairly high when this happens. I’ll reply back to this thread with my results

Hey! Wondering how this worked out and if you were able to fix it? Currently struggling with the same issue

If there was a downside to the Rev2 it will be this constant filter bleed. High frequencies pass through the filter no matter the settings. Albeit the level is low it is still audible. In my three years of ownership, I have not found a solution except (attention: smug alert! :D) buying a Moog One. No more filter bleed but a hoard of other little niggles.....
