Title: Please, HELP! Encoder knob changing values on its own.
Post by: noise on April 17, 2021, 09:29:33 AM
Hi there,

Today, I have experienced a very strange issue with my Tempest and I am very, very worried.

Some knobs like Resonance and Audio Mod, mainly these two, are changing values on their own. I recorded a short movie representing the issue, please see below:

Does any of you have an idea how to fix it? Just please, don't tell me that my Tempest died.

I am the first owner of this unit and have it probably for over 3 years now, never had any issue with it.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Best,
Noise.

Looks like it’s time to change that pots heh..Happened to me too after long time of filter abuse ;D
Contact support to send you some pots and find an electrician near you to solder it for you or else you could send T to support if you’re near San Fran or you could solder it yourself if you feel comfortable with it..
