I just purchased a Tempest second hand and I've been spending the weekend reading the manual and learning everything I can.
One thing I noticed is that after powering on the unit the time signature is set to 4/16 which is a bit odd. I tried initializing the beat and overwriting "Basic Beat" in the "Factory" folder and also tried overwriting "Basic Beat" in the "Beats 1" folder but every time I reboot the unit it returns back to 4/16 time signature. Is there another setting I'm missing?
Thanks

Have you tried changing time signature (Holding Erase and Copy together) and then saving the project?

This worked. Thanks!
