Title: Triggering multiple pads via external sequencer?
Post by: Earlsfield on February 21, 2021, 01:43:33 AM
Hi guys,
I am wondering  if it is possible to trigger multiple pad (sound) via MIDI IN. Now, I can only select one pad to trigger from external sequencer, regardless of the MIDI channel.
Just to be clear, I am not asking how to get polyphonic mode - I am asking if I can trigger, say, a kick, a snare and a hat using external (hardware or software) sequencer.
Is it possible to have all 16 sounds mapped on the keyboard, so C1 is a kick, D1 is a snare etc., using same MIDI channel, or is there a way to send multiple MIDI channels (different channel per pad/sound)?

Sure, you can use "MIDI Remote Pad Play".
Check p70 in the operation manual, everything is explained there.
(all notes must be send on same midi channel)
