Title: Question - How to set MIDI CC Out w/Sequencer
Post by: klstay on February 15, 2021, 08:05:43 AM
This is probably dead simple, but I guess so am I...

Setting a sequencer track as mod source and a note value to a MIDI channel as mod destination looks straightforward. When you assign a track to a MIDI channel as CC how do you specify which CC?

The desired outcome is when using only a few of the tracks for an onboard sound being able to also send tracks over MIDI to other sound sources using whatever CC mapping they use to control those various parameters in the sequence.

Hold down Track Sel, and choose one of the unused tracks. While keeping Track Sel down, turn the fou soft knob (above "Dest") until you get the MIDI1 CC#, MIDI2 CC#, or USB CC# sections. Note that the manual's appendix is wrong on the CC destinations. The destinations are CC numbers and not channels, as shown in the manual.

Then you can set values for each step in the usual way.
