Title: Voice Allocation?
Post by: cowudders on January 29, 2021, 12:38:04 AM
Hi,
got a P6, so great to get new features added, i'm a big fan!

One suggestion/question: for some sounds the P5's 'reassign' allocation works better than 'round robin' - is this a feature that could be added in a new frimware? to save this on a per patch basis would be even better of course. maybe some shift function via MISC PARAMETERS 'key mode'?

BTW: i generally find the 'vintage knob' algorithm more usefull, but sometimes the ole drunken slop also does cool things - would it be possible to make also this mode storable on a per-patch basis?

thanks so much!

Now that the P5 got the P6 round robin style, can the P6 get the P5 voice allocation?

Would be awesome if Slop/Vintage could be saved per patch !

noob question: what exactly is the p5 allocation style? and in what circumstances does this sound better than round robin?
