Title: Quick Question - Tempest choking/cutting off notes in playback
Post by: ccepe677 on December 19, 2020, 08:47:26 PM
So today I was messing around with the Tempest and recorded a beat with some melody. I played and recorded the pads in 16 Tunings and then hit play. To my surprise the notes seemed to be cutoff/choked like they played for less than a second in the playback. The drums were uninterrupted

The only sounds going were the melody(one sound) and a kick drum.

Anyone know why this would happen ?

Since the tempest can only sound 6 individual voices at once, could it be possible that your drum beat and melodies added up to more than 6 voices, thus creating choking/ not stealing?
