What is the Modulation Source ‘DC’?

Simplest way to think of it is as a fixed offset. There's an example in the Prophet X User's Guide v1.2 on page 113 to simulate stereo spread using a mix of DC (Direct Current offset) and note number as sources feeding into the Pan destination.
