Title: Volume adjustment with sequencer
Post by: minuteman on April 28, 2016, 08:18:41 AM
Does the capability exist to have one volume setting for the sequencer running and another volume setting for notes/chords played concurrently?

I guess the only way to do that would be if you activate the velocity switch for the VCA and then record the sequence manually at the desired volume and play over it at the desired volume.

Thanks, I will give that a try.

I'll need to try that.  I was wondering same thing.

Well I tried this, and with only barely noticeable success.   It's too hard to control the recording of a sequence and forecasting what volume it will be compared to the overlay keys.    IMO this needs to be fixed to make the play along feature meaningful on most patches I've tried.  Perhaps the program volume knob could be outfitted to control the record volume in a future update.
