Title: Beat Sync
Post by: sw2d on October 04, 2020, 01:26:50 AM
Hello,

Is there really no option for Prophet08 to start an ARP not when pressing the key but when the external clock hits beat 1?
I think I've nearly searched the whole world wide web.

Thanks a lot for your help!

What is it exactly you are trying to do? Run an arpeggio from an external sequencer?

I have noticed that the arpeggio needs a different offset than the gated sequencer. The midi clock needs almost 18ms in advance or 850 samples early at 48Khz. This is not good, but is the way it is.

Also the note trigger has to be right on time which is tricky when dealing with Sync and delay compensation stuff.
