Just got a Rev2, I am confused about its polyphonic behaviour
If I play notes legato, new voices take over with each note and I hear the release time of previous notes, as expected
However, if I dont play legato, it seems like its only using one voice, envelopes are reset and the release is cut off on the previous note
Its like what I would expect from some kind of "solo" mode, where you can hold a chord but play a melody with glide in between notes on top
How do I turn this off? Every patch seems to be acting this way, including an init patch
Unison is off and I have no split/layer
EDIT: with pan spread high, successive staccato notes don't change pan, so I guess its true that its just one voice then

How wierd is this-
it only happens when I send midi from my old Roalnd jx8p, even when it is sent to my send card and routed through my DAW? But not my minilogue or keyboard in the same setup
So it seems the JX8P is the culprit
Leaving this here in the rare chanse someone else has a similar issue

The Roland JX8p sends “all notes off” midi command when you release the last key you are playing.
