Title: Sequencer in Init Patch
Post by: mosen on September 15, 2020, 08:45:07 AM
Hi
i`m owning an OB6 since a few days and the sequencer behavior within an init patch is driving me nuts.
After initialise a patch (manual+Write) everytime i start my Ableton (midiclock via usb to the ob6) the onboard sequencer starts with a 4note sequence. i then have to manual stop the onboard sequencer.

is this a normal behavior that :

a the sequencer always starts when receiving midi clock (no way of disabling the sequencer while still receiving midiclok for sync duties)

b there is a 4 note seq in an init patch?

thanks alot folks

Try changing the global setting for Midi Clock. (Top Row...Button Number 3) You want the setting that says "nSS". This setting still receives midi clock but doesn't respond to midi start and stop messages. Should be the one you want.

Congrats on your new acquisition!
