It seems like I can only get the modwheel to control LFO Amount when the LFO is routed using a Fixed Mod Slot. If the LFO is on a regular mod slot, it has no effect.
for example:
Mod 2: Modwheel Amount: +127 Destination: LFO 1 Amount
Mod 3: LFO 1 Amount: 0 Destination: Cutoff
^this set up has no affect.
however, if I do:
Mod 2: Modwheel Amount: +127 Destination: LFO 1 Amount
Fixed Mod: LFO 1 Amount: 0 Destination: Cutoff
^Using the modwheel brings in a filter sweep as expected.
Is this a known limitation or is this a bug or oversight of some kind?
Can anyone else duplicate this issue on their PRO 3?
edit: I am using the most current OS (1.1.0)

I believe this is because “LFO 1 Amount” is for the fixed mod only. Basically it’s the amount knob for that LFO.
An entry like this, has it’s own amount (Mod 3 amount)
Mod 3: LFO 1 +127 Osc 1 Fine Pitch
To change that one, you would use
Mod 4: Slider +127 Mod 3 amount
Let me know if that makes sense, I may not be explaining it very well :)

That worked!
I forgot that "Mod Amount" is a destination so that can be used as a work around. Also good to know that the "LFO Amount" is for fixed mod only as that isn't super clear in the manual.
Thanks!

Very cool! Glad it worked for you.
Not sure I would call it a “work around” as it seems to be the intended design.
With 32 slots you can really go all out with modulations / controls.
For example you can have several things driving a single mod slot amount.
