Hi all,
I swear between OS updates and uploading new samples & programs some of my factory presets have changed.
I'd be very grateful if someone were to listen to the attached audio file, and compare it with their Prophet X/XL. The file is what I hear if I press the Sequencer play button playing the factory sequence for the F2 P59 Marimba Limbo preset (I think the list of presets might be different on some models so it might also be F2 P61). Do you hear the same?
You can hear a bunch of clicks as notes are played but don't really sound. I know clicks can be part and parcel of some sounds, but I don't think that is what is happening here. Investigating - the sampled instruments which are part of the present are set at size = zero, with start and end also at zero, hence the clicks. The Modulation Matrix or Aux Envelope doesn't affect these settings. I'm also aware that the factory presets should be untouchable, in theory.
I'm talking to Sequential support - but they've not come across the issue before (plus they're working from home without access to kit).
Any help very welcome.
