Title: Cutoff knob travel
Post by: W07 on April 19, 2020, 02:16:19 PM
Someone just posted on GS the cutoff knob only takes effect after the first big stripe until the last big stripe on the end.
My unit does the same thing.
My theory is it allows you to have more wiggleroom without hitting the physical end of the turn, especially when the frequency is offset by modulation, and a deliberate choice.

Anyone from Sequential care to comment?

I’m curious about this as well. Is this a design flaw? Will it be fixed?

My Subsequent 37 is like this, both on the filter cutoff and the oscillator 2 tuning knobs. I guess it’s just down to analogue potentiometers.
