Title: Two 32 track sequence mode?
Post by: creativespiral on April 04, 2020, 03:05:53 PM
The sequencer on the Pro 3 is really inspiring!... I love all the real time, instant button and knob access to change things up.

As-is, appears we have the ability to record either:
1. Four separate 16-step sequences
2. One extended sequence up to 64-steps (or less)

I was trying to setup a patch with two 32-step sequences.  The first sequence using A/B and second sequence using C/D... however, it appears this is not currently possible.   Unless I'm missing something?   Anybody else figure a way to do this?

So this might just go under category of "Feature Request".   I'm guessing where you select Single, or Extended, a third option would need to be added for "Dual / 32" in between those.   It would be nice to have two 32-step sequences, and press the AB or CD sequence buttons to alternate between the two 32-step sequences.

Yep would be a nice feature

The only workaround I can think of is to save the program with a 32 step sequence then save a copy to a neighboring program and program the second 32 step sequence there. It would require a program change which you could automate via MIDI for precision but it at least gets the job done.
