Title: How copy one bank to another
Post by: phil m on February 28, 2020, 06:54:57 AM
Hi,
I can pgm dump a bank from my  OB 6 and I save it on pc using midi-ox.  I can re-load that bank.  I was hoping someone could tell me how to move a bank from say the 000-099 to 400-499.  I cannot find this in the manual or online.  Is this possible with a command on the keyboard itself?  Or is there a simple command I can send as a SysEx file from midi-ox.  Or is there another way or do I need to buy some type of librarian software?  Apologies if this has already been answered on the forum but I have missed it.

Thanks.

Phil M.

I use the Soundtower editor for this, works great and was WELL worth the money.  That said, I've heard the VST version of the editor is a bit or miss, so maybe stick with the standalone version.

I'm sure there's probably a way to change the bank number in a sysex editor like Sysex Librarian, but I'd find that a lot more cumbersome personally.
