Title: Just got my prophet 12! Now looking for BRASS!

Hi everyone

I looooove my Prophet 12... this is the first DS instrument I’ve ever owned and I see now why Dave is a legend. I think this synth will always stand the test of time as a true behemoth in the synth world.  It sounds just beautiful and complex yet simple. I am looking forward to programming it, but first, would like to se what others have done. Mainly looking for big brass sounds... like something you would hear in a Bladerunner score.

I would also love to hear a sound bank dedicated to dark mysterious sounds, 80s influenced stuff, and synth wave.  Just curious what you recommend! I’ll be buying up a few tomorrow after work, but figured I better ask what the experts can recommend a newbie like me!

You need sawtooh waves, the cutoff to 9 o clock and playing with filter enveloppe, me mod wheel activating a light LFO modulating the pitch   :)

After, you can add extra osc to fatten the sound, spice up with the delay lines :)

Congratulations on the new synth! I agree with you about the P12. Brilliant synth now and always.
