Title: Soundtower Editor for loading factory patches?
Post by: S Y Z Y G Y X on January 09, 2020, 08:29:51 AM
We sold our Evolver desktop and ended up buying a MEK 2 weeks ago and there are many duplicate patches in the banks so I would like to restore the banks to the original factory patches.

2 questions:

The Soundtower editor can be used to load banks and patches yes?

Does the Soundtower Evolver editor have the factory patches ready to load in, or will I have to find the factory banks somewhere else?

Thank you!

The Soundtower editor does have the factory programs installed, and it can be used to load banks and patches. You can also download them from our website here:

https://www.sequential.com/support/

And checkout chysn's free Wave2Evolver utility if you want to load your own custom waveshapes.

Awesome Robot Heart!!  Thanks for the info, I’ll grab a copy of the editor later today in that case!  This Evolver is hands down the most amazing board...last night I made a patch that sounds like a reving motorcycle by sweeping the delay feedback and FM amount knob on oscillator 3.  What a synth!
