The template is set up to work with the "init program", so it's mainly for programming from scratch (until you've saved any programs at least)

The app is quite dated and limited, and takes some getting used to. Most importantly, save any edited sound on the app as a new and dedicated "canvas snapshot" (not "instrument", as that doesn't save the particular parameter values), whenever you save a sound on the Rev2.
