Title: Possible to revert to earlier version of the OS?
Post by: greg smith on August 24, 2019, 07:37:08 AM
Hello all,

Is it possible to revert to an earlier version of the OS? If so, are there any potential pitfalls to be aware of before I go ahead?

Greg

Hello Greg.

It's entirely possible to do so. The only drawback will be the loss of added features (depending on the earlier version chosen) and the possible need for auto-recalibration once it's done. But otherwise it should work fine.

One question though: why exactly would you want to do that ?

Alain.

Thanks Alain,

Since the last update, when I send PC, whilst the program changes, the synthetic still displays the previous program in the top of the display and if I save, it overwrites  the previous patch not the one currently playing. This has been a nightmare in my work flow and caused many disasters - lost patches that have been carefully tweaked over days.
